The Pastors who have served Buffalo Lutheran Church:

Sept 1880 - May 1881: the Rev. B. Anderson
1881 - 1882: the Rev. G. Evenson
1883-1885: Pastoral Vacancy. The Rev. H. S. Thompson visited for occasional services.
July 1885 - Dec 1886: the Rev. G.A. Larson
1886-1887: Pastoral Vacancy. Services held once every other month by the Rev. J. J. Heie
1888-1889: the Rev. J.O. J Haugen. He resigned after the end of 1889, but held services in Buffalo for the first half of 1890.
1890-1892: Pastoral Vacancy. No services were held in Buffalo.
1893-1896: the Rev. J. J. Eske
1896-1897: Pastoral Vacancy. The Rev. B. K. Barstad held a few services as a visiting pastor.
1897-1903: the Rev. C. M. P. Winther. Held services once a month.
1904: Pastoral Vacancy
1905-1908: the Rev. A. O. Fonkalsrud. He served First Lutheran in Fargo, but made regular trips for services in Buffalo.

Jan 1929 - Sept 1935: the Rev. C. E. Lucky. Pastor Lucky began serving the parish as a seminary student. He was ordained in June of 1929.

Aug 1961 - Jan 1965: the Rev. R. Schlaefer. Pastor Schlaefer began serving as a seminary student in the spring of 1961. He was ordained in August.

Sept 1968 - July 1969: the Rev. G. Hanson and the Rev. L. Meyer served as interim pastors.
